Artist Bio
Annabelle is an Illustrator currently finishing her senior year at the University of Colorado Denver majoring in Illustration and minoring in Painting & Drawing. Bringing character development and conceptual brain farts to life, Annabelle plans to use her degree in Illustration to reinvent storytelling and visual inspiration.
Originally from the Bay Area, Annabelle grew up in Napa Valley starting her professional education at the local junior college and then transferring to the University of Colorado. Annabelle has grown up with both hands immersed in the art community and has never let go since. Balancing a full work and school schedule, Annabelle makes time for illustration to be not only an outlet but a focal point to further her own creative expression.
Using the building blocks of a traditional fine arts background blended with a modern take on contemporary illustration, Annabelle seeks to perfect her unique thumb print on the creative world while developing a personal perspective with the communities around her.
Currently living in Denver, Colorado, Annabelle plans to move back to her Bay Area roots and begin her post-graduation professional career as an illustrator & Creative. In the mean time, Annabelle is currently working on a painting series documenting the shark finning industry with her illustration influence to bring this contemporary environmental issue to light. Using her passions, Annabelle strives for developing her craft as well as continuing to contribute a positive influence in the art community.
